Mound
- This page is a temporary stub, because the concept that it covered came up enough to be worth explaining but we haven't had time to write a full article about it. It will eventually be replaced by a more in-depth article.
A mound, in æalogy, is a mostly self-contained world that exists as a solid surface within a much larger plane and is mostly surrounded by vacuum or thin gas. Examples of mounds include the planets of Herit, the rews of Charos, and the vegari of Lothenmydhe.
The word has no relation other than homonymy to the word "mound" meaning a pile of dirt.
