Pagerics

This page is a temporary stub, because the concept that it covered came up enough to be worth explaining but we haven't had time to write a full article about it. It will eventually be replaced by a more in-depth article.

The pagerics are the regions of a terrestrial world with cold and icy climates, the opposite of the tropics. The adjective "pageric" refers to this type of climate. On Earth and similar worlds, this word isn't used and the pagerics are simply called the polar regions, but "pagerics" is a more general term also applicable to worlds of different shapes or natures where there are no geographical poles, or where they do not correlate to climate.
