Game:Main Page
The Game pages for individual worlds, characters, and so on will include guidelines and suggestions for their use in role-playing games, card games, board games, and others. This applies specifically to tabletop games; resources for computer games are in the Assets pages, and finished games based on Wongery content are linked in the Works pages—or will be, when and if any exist.
The Game namespace is divided into subspaces for different kinds of game. Currently the following subspaces exist:
- Game:RPG
- Role-playing games
- Game:CCG
- Customizable card games
- Game:War
- Miniatures games and other war games
- Game:Board
- Board games
- Game:Card
- Card games (other than CCGs)
- Game:Dice
- Dice games
It's possible that subspaces for other types of games may be added as they come to our attention, but it's not likely to happen any time soon. Many of the existing subspaces have no content as it is, though we do intend to populate them all over time. Currently the most developed subspace is the RPG subspace, both because that's the type of game that perhaps best lends itself to the use of imaginary worlds like those described in the Wongery, and because that's the type of game I know the best.
Obviously nothing in the Gamespace is binding or mandatory; these are the Grandmaster Wongers' takes on using Wongery content in various games, but you're welcome to ignore it and use the material however you see fit.
Note that you can create similar pages for your articles in the Public Wongery by just typing the full page name in the search box, and then clicking on the link to create the page. For example, if you have an article called "Wallacio the Bleak", then you can create a Game page for that article by just typing in "Game:Wallacio the Bleak", and an RPG page by typing in "Game:RPG:Wallacio the Bleak". (There's a more user-friendly way of creating these pages in the works, but the search-box method is a workaround for now.)
