Cheontam a T'enen is a bannath who runs an orphanage in the northwestern part of Graypool. She takes in orphans from nearby struggling communities like Badwell, Everfair, and the City Center as well as from Graypool itself and other surrounding communities, and does her best to keep them healthy and happy while she and her agents try to find them adoptive parents. By all accounts, a T'enen is a caring and well-intentioned person who treats her charges well and is genuinely concerned for their well-being.

Of course, running an orphanage costs money; a T'enen started her establishment using an inheritance she had just received, but that didn't last indefinitely, and she had to find some sources of income. While her good works have moved some philanthropists to make donations to her cause, she's found another way of making some money. Since she started the orphanage, a T'enen had used her innate summoning abilities to conjure up cuddly pets and companions for the children in her keeping; she thought perhaps that might have some appeal to outsiders as well, and built a petting zoo in the back of the orphanage. This turned out to be a surprising success, and while the petting zoo alone doesn't bring in enough money to pay for the orphanage's needs, supplemented by the donations she receives she makes enough to provide for her charges and keep the orphanage maintained. More recently she's started a second business selling exotic pets from other planes, further augmenting her funds and letting her spend more on the orphanage that is her main concern.

Cheontam a T'enen is a long, greenish bannath with smooth skin and a uniformly tapering tail. She has large blue spherical eyes and dark, jagged-edged lips that she likes to adorn with red lipstick. a T'enen's voice has a slight buzz, and she tends to get quieter toward the ends of sentences, sometimes trailing off into absent-minded muttering. She generally wears red or yellow unpatterned sheaths and black rubber stoppers.
