It's often said that the University of Lüm attracts students from all over the world. This is true, but in fact doesn't go far enough. The student body of the University of Lüm has not only enrolled students from all over the world of Curcalen, but a few from other worlds and planes as well. Still, even among the university's diverse student body, Uhhahina is exceptional, being the university's only demon student. Specifically, Uhhahina is a huahhel, a kind of demon associated with knowledge.

The demons of Usm are known to tempt people according to their particular spheres of influence in order ultimately to gather their élan vital. So far, at least, Uhhahina has not shown any obvious indications of trying to enter into any such deals with their fellow students, or with anyone else they've interacted with, and has found other less dangerous ways to obtain the élan vital they need. Perhaps Uhhahina is a benevolent demon with unusual concern for the mortals they interact with–or perhaps they have some subtle plan that has yet to come to fulfillment. Uhhahina's ultimate goals and reason for enrolling at the university are unknown—as, except to those university staff involved in the matter, are the reasons for the university taking the extraordinary step of granting a demon admission in the first place.

Uhhahina has a slender, roughly humanoid form with six spindly limbs. Its oval head, which bears a large round mouth, is not attached to its body but floats above and around it; likewise, its four eyes erratically circle around its head. While demons don't usually wear clothing, Uhhahina does, favoring white or light tan colors and generally wearing clothing made for humans that stays on their form only by copious use of belts and straps.
