Isori Iaen is an alchemist who lives above their workshop in Fishertown, where they brew various sorts of potions and elixirs. Many of Iaen's products they sell to middlemen who find customers for them elsewhere in the city, but some cheap potions they sell directly to locals from a counter at the front of the workshop. Isori gladly takes requests and creates specific alchemical products to order, if it's something they know or can figure out how to make, though they charge extra for this.

Most of Isori's concoctions use ingredients that come from the sea, which is probably why they settled in Fishertown—that and perhaps because, as an alicund born of water, they were more comfortable near a large body of it. These ingredients are of course supplied by the local fishermen; if they catch something strange in their nets, they can often sell it to Isori, who can usually find a use for it. Frequently, however, Isori finds themselves in need of a specific ingredient, and will publicize an offer of a generous reward for any fisherman who brings it to them. These ingredients may include rare seaweeds, organs from elusive and hard-to-catch types of fish, pearls made by specific kinds of mollusc, or many other items and substances that can be found in the ocean off Fishertown's shore... but only if you know where to look for them.

Isori Iaen is a tall, androgynous blue-colored person whose skin seems to undulate slightly as if something were flowing underneath it. Their white "hair" is made up of what appears to be a waterfall frozen in time. They have a long but flat nose and a high, rounded forehead with a third eye in the middle of it. Iaen's eyes tend to wander when they speak, and they take deep breaths between sentences. They generally dress in thin, silvery-white robes.
