Although all manner of goods from all over the world are carried on the ships that berth at the Docks and stored in the warehouses there, they are destined to be transported elsewhere for sale. The only items commonly sold at the Docks that are likely to be of interest to someone from another neighborhood are those that have to do with ships and the sea—ship parts, navigational charts, various maritime summonables. Or at least, those are the only legal such items; for those who know where to look, the Docks are also a good place to acquire lockpicks, poisons, anymasks and other tools for mischief.

As far as services available at the Docks, the most obvious, of course, is passage on a ship. If one wants to travel by sea, or to ship items to another continent, the Docks are the place the journey will begin—as well as the place of entry for those arriving in Lüm by sea. It's also the best place in the Lüm to hire sailors, navigators, and other maritime professionals. If one is willing to venture into the seamier side of the neighborhood, the Docks is also an excellent place to find hired muscle or potential accomplices for various kinds of criminal activity.
