While Claybridge Heights has shops of its own selling all the typical goods and amenities, it is adjacent to the neighborhood of Highmarket which gets its name from its abundance of storefronts and sellers. Locals may find it more convenient to go to a local establishment, but there is little reason for nonresidents to come to Claystone Heights for most purchases rather than just going to Highmarket nearby. The exceptions are goods that are especially associated with galliards and other adventurers. The shops Highmarket of may beat those of Claybridge Heights for in both price and selection for most items, but Claybridge Heights may be its equal as a place to buy weapons, traveling gear, and certain kinds of telesmata.

With regards to services, obviously Claybridge Heights is the best place in Lüm to find adventuring companions, to hire porter and other assistance, and to get training in the sorts of skills that adventurers find useful. It's also a good place to find healing and restorative magics; adventurers often return from their forays with injuries and curses, providing a need that many healers and wizards have moved to Claybridge Heights to fill. There are storefronts in Claybridge Heights specializing in healing or in the removal of magical maledictions, and there are even wandering street healers who may provide similar services much more cheaply, although not necessarily as effectively.
