January 18, 2026: Rosemary Hill—Transportation
Back when it was still a wealthy neighborhood, there were broad avenues running between the stately manors of Rosemary Hill and connecting it to the surrounding neighborhoods. Now, those boulevards are still there, but see as much use as marketplaces and gathering spots than as conveyances, and it's common for all but a relatively narrow walkway in the middle to be crowded with people and stalls, perhaps broad enough for a small wagon such as those the local artists often use to transport their wares but not easily for anything larger. It's still possible for a larger vehicle to travel down those roads, but only very slowly and by forcing the boulevard's occupants to get out of its way as it progresses.
Meanwhile, the repurposing of the grand manors and estates into multiple [shop]]s and residences has necessitated the contruction of new roads to connect all these places. These new roads have not been made with the precision and the resources of the old boulevards, and tend to meander haphazardly through the old grounds, between and around outbuildings and new structures. Off the old boulevards, the streets of Rosemary Hill are a bit of a labyrinth. Then, too, there are some buildings in the manors' interiors that don't connect directly to the streets at all, but can only be accessed through corridors and other indoor spaces... or even through the subterranean passages of disused cellars.
